The Claremont, 1918
There is a separate building in the back, built around the 30s. It was used most likely as a garage according to the current owners. At some later point, they extended that building...by TWO FEET. Why bother to add such a little bit?

Around Oklahoma City
I stumbled across a wonderfully fun business name, "Architectural Antiques: Dead People's Stuff" near downtown Oklahoma City. One day soon I'll actually go there during business hours.
Next on this page is a series of photos from the old Farmer's Market just off Reno and near downtown OKC. Looking a bit shabby these days, but a fascinating place. It is actually open pretty much year round, including the fruit-and-veggie shops as well as the antiques mall. The produce isn't necessarily all local, but chances are you'll find some local foods.
Then we have a group of photos featuring the Milk Bottle Grocery on Classen Avenue just north of 23rd Street. These days it's a sandwich shop called Saigon Baguette, right at the heart of the Asian District of OKC.
One thing that has fascinated me for years is the tiny size of the Milk Bottle building, and another is the quirky shape. It's almost a triangle, but has too many sides to be called one. Also interesting to me is the old/new comparison with the drug store behind the Milk Bottle, and the size difference as well. Lastly, it's sandwiched on a tiny "island" of real estate, surrounded by three streets (hence the triangle). As the locals know, Classen is one of the few main streets in the city that does not run in a north/south or east/west direction. Instead, it angles in a northwesterly direction from downtown OKC.

Icky Insects
Okay, I'll grant this much. You have the right to photograph whatever you please. I'm not the Photo Police.
That said, I must say I do get tired of the same ol' same ol' subjects of macro photography. I look at photos a lot online, and it is hugely predictable. You have a camera with great macro capabilities, so you feel obliged to look for small subjects to photograph. I understand that.
I also realize that insects are the smallest living creatures. But I've seen enough creepy insects, okay???!
There are other subjects for macro photography, like dewdrops and flowers. I see a lot of those. However, clever photographer that you are, I'm sure you can find more subjects.... and try to leave the insects alone. Or send them to the Biology Department of your favorite university; I'm sure they can use them.
